Welcome to Social Work London. We are a website by social workers for social workers. We are focused on London and its surrounding areas. London is a hub of bustling diversity and the home of 33 London Boroughs. Although each borough is unique, they all face a range of shared challenges as part of the London context. Many of these issues are cross borough, and tackled in a range of different ways by different local authorities. Many of the workers circulate between boroughs, and boroughs are in constant competition with each other.
We want to create a dynamic London wide resource where social workers can share their experiences, innovation, promote good practice, and enjoy learning. We want to have a conversation where social worker and managers’ voices and experiences are heard.
